Privacy policy

Servawy (Cairo, Egypt) is responsible for the data collected on this website. This page explains what we collect and why, who sees it and what you can do about it.

1Data you give us

  • The proposal form: your name, mobile number, email and company name (if given), the service you are interested in and your message.
  • Booking a call: the same details, the time you chose and how you want to talk.
  • The newsletter: your email (and name, if given) and your language.
  • If you contact us on WhatsApp or by email: the messages you send.

2Data collected automatically

To understand how the site performs we record the pages opened, reading time and scroll depth, device type, browser and operating system, country (from Cloudflare or the browser's time zone), and the site or campaign that sent you (such as utm_source).

We do not store your IP address in visit statistics, and visit records are deleted after 400 days.

3Cookies

  • sv: a random number identifying your browser so we can tell new visitors from returning ones (one year).
  • ss: the current visit, ending after 30 minutes of inactivity.
  • sa: the campaign or site that sent you and your first page (30 days), so we know which ad brought your request.
  • site_locale: the language you chose (one year); plus the session and security (CSRF) cookies the forms need.
  • If we enable Meta Pixel or Google Analytics/Ads, those tools set their own cookies to measure ads, under Meta's and Google's policies.

4How we use it

  • To answer and follow up your request, prepare a proposal, and arrange your call and remind you of it.
  • To send the newsletter, only if you confirmed your subscription; you can leave at any time from the link in every issue.
  • To understand and improve the site and our ads.
  • To protect the site from bots and abuse, including Cloudflare Turnstile checks.
  • We never sell your data or use it for anything beyond these purposes.

5Who sees it

  • Servawy's sales and support team, each as their work requires.
  • Providers working on our behalf: Cloudflare (security and delivery), Meta (WhatsApp Business for booking messages and reminders), our email provider and our hosting and storage providers. They may use the data only to provide their service to us.
  • Authorities, where the law requires it.
  • Some of these providers store data outside your country; we choose providers with recognised protection safeguards.

6How long we keep it

  • Requests and lead data for as long as we are in contact or doing business, then as long as the law requires (for invoices, for example).
  • Newsletter data until you unsubscribe; after that we keep only your email so we never write to you again.
  • Visit records for 400 days.

7Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, or object to its use for marketing, under Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 and the data-protection laws of the Gulf states.

Send your request to [email protected] from the email or number we have on file, and we will reply within 30 days at most.

8Security

The whole site runs over HTTPS. Inside Servawy, access to data is limited by permissions, protected by two-factor sign-in and recorded in an activity log.

9Children

Our services are for companies and business owners and are not aimed at anyone under 18.

10Changes to this policy

If we change anything important in this policy we will publish it here and update the date above; changes that affect newsletter subscribers will be sent to them by email.
